Rivka Krakofsky

Rivka Krakofsky is the Marketing Director of Hematology at BeiGene Canada.  She started her career in the clinical setting as a radiation therapist at PMH and UCLA, and since then, oncology has been at the heart of much of her work. She transitioned into the agency world and worked on many oncology launches.  After 10 years, she had the opportunity to join the ‘client’ side and began working at Shire (now Takeda).  She then moved to AstraZeneca, joining the hematology marketing team there. Having immersed herself in medium pharma, and big pharma, she wanted to get a sense of smaller pharma and joined BeiGene in 2021 where she now leads the hematology marketing efforts. From the beginnings of her career, it has always been the patients who ultimately motivate her. Garnering insights, particularly unmet needs, from both HCPs and patients, and turning these into meaningful actions is what drives Rivka every day.
